Your special day is approaching fast.  The church is booked, the food catered, but what about your entertainment?  The truth is, a large amount of couples overlook the entertainment when planning their wedding.  When looking for a DJ, there are several questions which must be considered.

Will the DJ Meet With Me Personally?  You should expect that the person who will be responsible for over 80% of the success or failure of your event will meet personally with you at your convenience.  Remember, more truth will come out face to face than over the phone.

Will You Be The DJ Performing at My Event and Will You Guarantee It In Writing?  Make sure that the person who will be entertaining at your event is an employee of the company you hired and is not sub contracted.  Read your contract carefully and remove any clause giving them the right to substituted anyone they choose.

Do You Provide a Wedding Event Profile or Checklist?  For a DJ to make sure your party goes as planned, he must have a checklist / profile sheet in order to know what will be happening at your event and to make sure all things go as planned.

When Do You Arrive to Setup Your Equipment?  A professional entertainer will take the time to arrive at your reception several hours before you or your guests to setup and thoroughly test the equipment.

How Many Songs Do You Have in Your Library?  A good DJ should have anywhere from 5000 to over 15000 songs at his disposal.  Music on CD or digital format is the best in quality and should be obtained in a legal fashion.  A DJ’s music is one of his main tools and should use a legal source of music.  In addition to superior quality, legal music is edited and clean cut, making it acceptable for all ages.

Do You Provide a Contract?  It is very important to confirm your booking via a signed contract.  Terms should be clearly defined to avoid future problems.

Is Your Equipment Professional Quality?  There is a difference between home audio and professional audio equipment.  Professional Audio is quality and made for on-the-road, everyday use.  We use nothing but the best from manufacturers like JBL, QSC, and Denon.

At AA Entertainment, we offer several dance packages to fit your needs, or we will custom tailor one especially for you.  For information on our wedding dance packages or to book, visit our contact page.
